This mug has been wheel-thrown from stoneware-clay. It was initially fired to approximately 1060 degrees Celsius. An illustrative sketch was drawn with a black underglaze pencil in a sketchy style. A coating of clear glaze was then applied re-fired to approximately 1240 degrees Celsius.
This woman drawn mug is a daily reminder to honour and celebrate your body.

Glaze: illustrative sketch underpinning the basis of my larger sculptural work, with a high gloss finish exterior. Reactive cool-toned glaze with subtle colour runs and organic texture on the interior.
