CANDY STRIPES - GRATEFUL
This mug has been wheel-thrown from stoneware clay. A secret message ‘grateful’ was imprinted onto the inside rim. It was initially fired to approximately 1060 degrees Celsius. A pastel pink speckle glaze over a reactive cool-toned cream was then applied in a stripe formation, and re-fired to approximately 1240 degrees Celsius.
