This vessel has been wheel-thrown from stoneware-clay. The female form has then been hand-sculpted gently onto the vessel to celebrate the beauty and strength of womanhood. It was initially fired to approximately 1060 degrees Celsius. Glaze was then applied and re-fired to approximately 1240 degrees Celsius. The firing revealed a body of cream speckle with warm toasty undertones and a gloss finish.
